Warranty & Repair
 
Please read FAQ if you have some problems in your product. If you can not find answer in FAQ, please send us e-mail cs@digital-cube.co.kr


LIMITED WARRANTY CONDITIONS

The limited warranty is provided to the original owner only and is not transferable to any third party. Proof of purchase will be required for any limited warranty on Digital-Cube products. Digital-Cube¡¯s warranty covers only those defects which arise as a result of normal use of the product, and do not apply to any product :
1. Defect or damage resulting from other than normal use.
2. Defect or damage due to misuse or unauthorized repair or modification.
3. Defect or damage due to dropping or careless handling after purchase.
4. Defect or damage due to spilling of water or other liquid.
5. Defect or damage due to fire hazard, earthquake, lightning, wind damage, flood,    abnormal voltage, industrial pollution, salt/seawater damage, gas damage, incorrect     power rating (voltage, frequency) and act of God. Lack of SERIAL NUMBER. Label or illegal     forgery.
6. Defect or damage due to attaching of or connection with other than Digital-Cube specified     equipment.
7. Consumable items (including the hand strap and soft carrying case)
8. When the warranty period is already expired.

LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE

Within a period of one (1) year of the date of purchase except battery (Coverage of battery shall be a period of six (6) months of the date of purchase), if Digital-Cube receives notice of defect in any Digital-Cube product which is covered by Digital-Cube 's warranty, Digital-Cube shall either repair or replace the defective product, at Digital-Cube's option.

Digital-Cube shall have no obligation to repair or replace until the customer returns the defective product to Digital-Cube according to the Warranty Procedure in below.

For the other regions that Digital-Cube representative doesn't present, please consult with your local Digital-Cube retailer or authorized dealer before purchasing.


WARRANTY PROCEDURE

During the warranty period, Digital-Cube will replace or repair defective products returned to Digital-Cube or a retail shop you purchased.

You should know following details before you ship the product to us.
- Use plenty of wrapping bag when you pack the player because HDD should be handled with full of care. If damages or loss are caused during shipment, sender has to bear all responsibilities.
- The Accessories are not subject to the repair service.
- Customers will bear the cost of repairing if damages are caused by customers. In this case we will let customers know the cost and product condition. Then, if we confirm the receipt of the cost of repairing, we will ship repaired product back to customers. If customers do not want to get our repair service, we will ship the product as it is without repairing service.
- Digital-Cube will notify the exact repair cost right after check your product.

When you send your product to us for our repair service, please attach following documents.
Invoice Form Download, RMA Form Download

How to fill in the Invoice form
- Please fill in blanks with gray color on the Invoice.
- Invoice number needs to track your product and separate with others.
Format of Invoice number is as follows : YYYY/RMA/MM/DD-Your ID
EX) If your ID is istation@yahoo.co.kr and shipping date is January 15th 2006, your invoice number is 2006/RMA/01/15-istation
- Return only the defective product(s), Digital-cube is not responsible for other products or accessories returned with the defective item.
- Battery and stylus pen also need to be detached from the player you send.
- Digital-cube is not responsible or liable for any data stored on the player because those data would be lost, deleted or HDD would be formatted during repairs. You should make a backup copy of any data stored on the player prior to ship it out to Digital-cube.

LIMITATION OF WARRANTY

Neither Digital-Cube nor its third party suppliers make any other warranty or condition of any kind whether expressed or implied, with respect to the Digital-Cube products, and specifically disclaim the implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, satisfactory quality, and fitness for a particular purpose.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Except for the limited obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall Digital-Cube or its third party suppliers be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, whether based on contract, tort, or any other legal theory and whether advised of the possibilities of such damages.
